No problem. Make sure you have someone else do the tracing while you stand normally. Trying to do it yourself makes your weight shift and your feet change shape unnaturally. Ask me how I know.

Kinda unrelated, but I did my measurements and they came out to a 8D in US sizes. What's really odd about this is that most of my dress shoes are 8D and are a little on the big side, especially my AE's and Common Projects dress shoes. I guess I could have measure it wrong, or it could just be right and certain brands could just run a half to full size large.

I'm hoping the Meermin shoes fit TTS. Do you all find the Meermin shoes to be true to size?

I've settled for the following, although I really should get myself some dark brown shoes since I don't own any (mainly cause I can't pass up on walnut shoes ever)

Some pictures of the bluchers I got for my brother. Its on the Ama last. From the date of the order to delivery, it took 8 days.I have polished them with 1 layer of Saphir MDO mahogany.

Those look fantastic! Thanks for posting.

I'm very pleased I ended up ordering them. They look to be a great casual shoe that could also easily be dressed up.

I got a pair of the tassel loafers in the 7E UK and I also wear a 7E in the 348 (and 341, and 337) of C&J. The loafers are tight to get on, tight to the point a shoe horn almost gets stuck, but once they are on they fit flawlessly. (Which is strange, I know, but somehow works) These are on the Rui last, I am EXTREMELY satisfied with them.

Which color do you have them in? Do you have a picture of the loafers? Would love to see a real-life picture

Every foot is different, and a Brannock-device-esque setup is not going to capture the nuances of your individual foot. Girth, instep, etc.

I've been corresponding with Luisa and they suggested I get a 7.5 UK (8.5 US) which is usually way too big for me. But I guess a lot of these Meermin shoes are narrow in terms of width. They might fit better at the suggested size, but that means the shoes will be longer and there will be a lot more extra space from my toes to the top of the shoes.

I'm sure it varies by model, but do Meermin's seem to run long length wise?

I've corresponded with them and asked them to ship by Royal Mial, not fedex so hopefully no canada post duty/brokerage charges.

Just received a call from FedEx, total charge was for $66CAN.

Ouch.. So total cost ends up being ~$300 for the classic line?

I've been ready to buy a pair and try these shoes out, but paying close to $100 for shipping & duties is not what I care for.

Maybe I'll ask them to ship via Royal Mail as well.. But I thought that Royal Mail only applied to parcels coming out of the UK?

Meermin would ship via Correos, who would then hand it off to the national postal service of the recipient's country. Royal Mail, USPS, Canada Post, etc.

Doubt they would though, Correos sucks hard

edit: and they wouldn't be able to track. All I gotta say is lost the package and ask for refund
like a canadian guy did on eBay just recently, though he may not have gotten the shirt, I have no way of knowing
