I just sent an inquiry to Luisa and was told the 2 pairs I wanted were out of stock and should be in in 30 days, don't want to wait that long because with shipping and everything it looks to be at least 6 weeks.

How does the 348 last fit your foot? I recently found out that I could do a 9.5 instead of a 10EUK. The New Rey at 10, with a little stretch fits comparable to the 9.5EUK C&J.

There have been a few users that size up a half-size for the New Rey based on how the 348 C&J fits (for example - 7.5UK in 348 C&J = 8UK New Rey).

My feet are pretty normal - not too wide or narrow.

That's what I'll likely do when I end up ordering a pair or two.

I am expecting delivery this week after payment 12 days ago. Will update you as to whether delivery does take place on friday at the latest. Was told that the shoes were in stock when placing the order. I must have ordered the extra "break in service" unknowingly. This includes Pepe himself walking all the way from Mallorca to my doorstep wearing the coveted shoes. Free of charge of course.

    Are those shoes this model?

I've also been using mahogany on my Meermin Oxfords and I think it is a perfect match for the shoe.

I sent them an email and they sent me an attachment which is apparently an "insole to measure my feet."

Not sure what to do with that, especially since I don't have a printer.

I wear a size 8 in AE (slightly big, but good) and 41 in Common Projects dress shoes (big).

    Any suggestions?

    Thinking about these =

Thank you gyasih and Mr. Essex. The 348 last fits my foot well in an 8.5uk. It really sounds like 9uk in the new ray is the way to go.

There seems to be less of a consensus on the loafers. It looks like a larger last, and a half size down in loafers is often prudent. If I pull the trigger I'll report back

Is there a way you can post that insole measurement? For those of us who have never tried them I'd help eliminate some of the shoes we are considering.

This? It's just an example for you to follow. Have someone help you trace your feet on a sheet of paper, measure the tracing in the places indicated by the arrows, and send them the measurements.

    Yeah, that's it.

Doh, that should have been obvious. Thanks!
