Richard Gere helped popularize Armani back in the 80s, so now they have a capsule collection named after him.

I’m having trouble picturing where this would be worn.

But I do admire the idea behind it. The 80s were an interesting time for menswear.

With all respect, the gentleman I posted is far away from this excess. On the contrary, the shoulders are very restrained and well proportioned.

Not saying that a pagoda shoulder is my preference, but it really looks good on some guys.

I still have a bunch of slim trousers that I wear and one of the things that irritates the sh*t out of me is that they "grab on" to over-the-calf socks. It looks really silly. It's going to take me a while to slowly transform to wide leg, high waisted pants.

Yeah, can be annoying in winter with thicker wool socks.
