Just a heads up.
I was at Square One yesterday.
The DACK's 50% off sale continues.
I also inquired about the rumour that DACK's was closing all the stores.
The manager told me they were notified that the stores are staying open.
Apparently that downtown location that closed was the result of the building/land owner
wanting to do something else with the property, and it wasn't just DACK's that closed.
As far as the chain is concerned, they have found a way to stay alive for now.
I also inquired as to how much longer their sale will continue,
and was told 'until corporate office notifies them otherwise',
meaning it could end any time without notice.
The Cheaney's looked delicious (lesser discounting on those, but still a great buy).
Even the 'Made In Mexico' models also looked great.
The prices couldn't be better!
Why, oh WHY do I have to be out of work at this time
I hope someone can benefit by this info.
