NFW. None of our parts would fit in the dishwasher - they're really long. It's true that they're easy to clip off to clean but then, the hard part starts when you have to deal with the grease - yuck. Thanks for reminding me of these moments!!

My opinion is that cleaning is always relative to OCD.

LOL, sorry about that. That Magic Lung seems to really work, and the noise is not only less, the pitch is lower and easier on the ears. We're looking at the halogen lit, Euroline Pro models.

I wish I had gotten a Vent-a-Hood. I may yet replace the hood I do have.

You're an alpha male investment banker. The wife or the maid is supposed to do the cleaning. Get with the program!

You should spend some time on:

www.gardenweb.com and check out the home forums, especially the appliance and kitchen sub-forums. Lots of great advice and real world opinions.

Pio, perhaps you could put in a revolving door for the front entrance. None of the neighbors will have them

soo many options. have narrowed down to the following:

bluestar vs wolf 48 inch range

haven't decided on the vent, but over 1000 cfm seems a must, a remote blower, would be nice

likely bosch dishwasher

refrigerator/freezer, originally had a 42" space, but considering different options

also was considering warming drawer, and was trying to think about microwaves. any thoughts on microwaves, or help in a refrigerator/freezer combination, had considered Sub-Zero, but the repair history kind of scares me.

thx for any input,

ard

Bluestar for sure.
I hate my Bosh, for some reason it cleans like **** lately.
Yes on 1K CFM and remote blower.
M-wave, go with Kitchen Aid
Why a warming drawer? WASTE O MONEY.

I had thought of Bosch DW, but changed my mind, as I read repeatedly they will often smell, if not installed just so. We're going with GE Monogram instead. Still sticking with Bosch cooktop, although that Calderra you have looks interesting Anti.

The Caldera is a Nuke Range. It is very powerful.
If you dont need that kind of power, go with your Bosch. However, if you want to have a massive center burner that will light up the night sky, and have 4 others to work with. Its a good choice, its not well known, but it because of this, they are very affordable. I have had not one issue with mine. It looks cool too.
I told myself years ago I would get one.
It was between a capitol/bluestar/and caldera. The other two are equals in performance, but were rangetops, not cook tops, and were 3X the price.

If I read things right, it looks like that center burner has 18k BTU while the B has a 17k one. What rating do the included specs with yours say?
