Lol. yes. I haven't had to wear suits in a long time and worked mostly indoors in a workshop and now I'm back to the business world.
As far as the intervention goes, I guess, the only thing I can say for myself is that at least I'm not resisting and promise to try to do better.

Hello,

so I bought some more things, cashmere sweaters, jeans (which I never used to wear) and grey and navy suits, and socks except for the burgundy ones.
When it comes to suits, I think I'm set for the foreseeable future.

I don't dare pick out ties though. I would appreciate it, if someone could give me some styles or maybe models I should go for. I really thought the brown and the grey/yello/blue striped ties I have, looked nice, so I guess, I lack a sense of taste for that.

Also, could you maybe tell me some brands of shoes towards which I should gravitate. I get that Görtz is a good option. I'm wondering, if there are any others. I also think, I have an idea, what the shoes are supposed to look like.

Do brand and style of the matter. I used to go for black leather Boss or Joop belts with a rather big and clean buckle, where you can't see the pin that goes through the hole.

I think that one of the casual looks, I want to go with is: dark grey suede or brown leather shoes, dark blue jeans, white t-shirt, light grey v-neck sweater and my dark grey cashmere jacket.
