they're about 7.75in laying flat, so maybe a little less with the cuff.

My normal shoe size is between 8 and 8.5. My indy's are 7.5 and fit fine. The brando's are probably a half size too big, but with insoles and boot socks they fit well. Also, it seems that both the indy and brando have roomy toes, which i like; snug toes make me feel anxious

Alden Indys are phenomenal, not cheap, but definitely worth the money.
