Please see it. I can't imagine any type of person who wouldn't like this movie. Intelligently written, very funny, heartwarming, insightful.. all that, and some really great filming too.

I had a lot of hype for it, which backlashed before it came out and I lowered my expectations, but it really exceded my greatest hopes for it.

What a lovely little movie. People are billing it as more than it is, but what it is is pretty good.

I was actually going to mention this movie in the "Movies You're Dying to See" thread but...Great little movie. There wasn't a character I didn't love, and the VW Bus's horn. That was one of the funnier things I've seen in a long time.

Definitely hilarious. Funniest movie I've seen all year.

There was something about this movie, I can't really explain it well, but so many things in the movie wouldn't normally get me, but somehow, everything lines up just right, and I can't help but laugh.

Very funny movie. Interesting look at the idea that all you ever really have is family. I recommend seeing it.

Well, it's 101 minutes, so it's pretty much standard length. It's just that it has a sort of intimate, unconstructed (to appropriate a clothing term) feel to it.

just saw it. loved it. laughed hard, and shed a couple tears too (cuz i'm a modern kind of guy).

steve carrell was awesome, as was alan arkin. the nietzshe (how the **** do you spell it) kid was good too, excellent show of teenage disdain.

the 'superfreak' number was rather inspired, taking a page from the napoleon dynamite book.

Just saw it last night.
The pageant contestants were a really disturbing commentary on US culture. Reminded me of Bennett Ramsey girl.
Sweet movie overall.
