I have some great outerwear pieces that I’m thinning out of my closet. I wanted to give SF members an advance opportunity before I list them on Ebay toward the end of the month. These are all things that I’ve owned since new and most have seen minimal use. The price given in the posting title is for the first coat listed, each subsequent jacket has its own price in the description. Thanks for looking.
SOLD Gucci Tom Ford era Leather Jacket, black. Size US 40/EUR 50/Medium SOLD
Purchased in 2002, when Tom Ford was designing and managing the Gucci brand, worn less than 5 times, and kept in a breathable hanging garment bag all of its life.
this jacket was designed in 2002, right as Italian designers were designing clothing for a smaller, slimmer body type. My other Gucci jacket listing, was purchased one season before this jacket, it has almost identical measurements, but it is labeled 48/38/small. This jacket was released 6 months later, with the similar measurements and is labeled size 50/40/medium. So, if you are used to buying very recent italian designer clothing from Tom Ford/Gucci/Dolce&Gabbana in a size medium then this jacket will also like a medium. If you are used to buying and wearing vintage Gucci from the 1990s in size medium, then this jacket will feel a bit small. Please see my exact measurements below and compare them to a jacket you currently own to see if this will be the right size for you:
-Length 26.25 inches (measured from base of collar to bottom edge of the back);
-Shoulder 18.75 inches (measured from top of left shoulder seam to top of right shoulder seam);
-Chest 21.75 inches (measured from armpit to armpit across the front);
-Sleeve 24 inches (measured from top of shoulder/sleeve seam to bottom of cuff);
-Sleeve cuff 11 inches.
*The sleeve has 1.75 inches of additional material inside the cuff, so you might be able to have the sleeves let out if you require additional length-please consult your own tailor or leather specialist.

What this means for you, the buyer: If you currently fit into the most recent Tom Ford/Gucci and similar brands as a small, then this jacket will feel more like a medium. If you are use to buying vintage gucci from the 90’s in size small or if you wear clothing designed more for the average middle age man’s build such as Loro Piana, Ermenegildo Zenga in size small, then this jacket will fit like a small that you are used to. Vintage Giorgio Armani Le Collezioni Brown leather jacket for Bergdorf Goodman US 40/EUR 50/Medium
This is a Fall/Winter weight leather jacket featuring a thick, plush velveteen cotton lining around the lower torso and chest for a luxurious feel and added warmth, while the shoulder area is of similar thickness but has a rayon lining to help the jacket slide on easily over your shirts and sweaters. SOLD Ruffo vintage brown suede bomber jacket. S ize US 40/EUR 50/Medium SOLD
Light brown/dark camel colored suede jacket is almost the same shade of suede that is featured on all of the Louis Vuitton jackets for the Spring/summer 2015 men’s runway show. Ruffo is an Italian leather specialist company who often produces the leather clothing for other big Italian designers (Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, and Prada) who don’t have the tools, craftsman, and technical knowledge needed to produce their own high quality leather goods. Rogue - Neil Barrett inspired vintage looking leather motorcycle jacket, Brown. Size Large.
In 2005, Brad Pitt wore one of Neil Barrett’s vintage-looking washed leather jackets to the premier of his film, Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Shortly after the film premier, other “A” list celebrities were photographed in similar Neil Barrett jackets, such as Orlando Bloom, Ryan Gosling, Chris Brown and Mark Ruffalo actually wore the jacket in the film “The Kids are Alright.” If you google Neil Barrett + any of the celebrity names I just mentioned, you can see the pictures for yourself. If you can still find one, the Neil Barrett Jacket will cost you anywhere from $1,500 used to $2,800 new, putting that jacket out-of-reach for most people. This is Rogue brand’s copy of that jacket at a much more affordable price point.
This jacket features vintage look leather. The collar and pocket flaps metal have metal wiring inside to shape and create that washed and crinkled vintage leather style, this means that you can bend and shapes these areas of the jacket yourself to create the exact look you want.
