I kopped this jacket before I knew about Thurston. I actually want to post some fit pics of the new jacket I'm having made...but, this thread is brutal ATM so I am just waiting to hear back from Carrie.

Aero was cool to work with but Thurston is on a whole different level. "Customer-Centric" is a good phrase.

It is a bit "too" long, I think, but still looks fine regardless. The new one is a cossack as well or another style?

New Jacket is the "Original Hercules" from Aero via Thurston in Rust Goatsuede. Really looking forward to this new one man. Been a long time coming.

Looks like a cool, versatile style. Really like the design on the back.

Personally wouldn't wear a jacket that's just 2" larger than my actual chest. I consider 4" already a slim fit.

I think when you wear jackets this slim, it becomes uncomfortable for daily life, like when you have both arms up on a bar counter or something. In that position, you can really feel the strain across your back.

I think there's a point to be made for wearing the style and fit you want and suffering accordingly. I'm not wearing leather jackets to be comfortable at all times, it's more of a looks thing. There's a balance in looks vs comfortability and when it comes to leather jackets I prioritize the former. That's not to say I'm wearing very uncomfortable jackets of course.

Sidenote but I have one jacket that I'd consider to be too small but it's ironically my most comfortable one. Underarm gussets and worn in leather go a long way.

I find 2 of them cute and the others, well, somebody has to be the Chris Kirkpatrick or Joey Fatone of the group.

You're lucky there are no Blackpink stans on this forum, they'd be really mad at you.

I think it's all very subjective. My jackets are all tight, but I don't find them uncomfortable and I can wear them all day.
For someone else, the same fit might be unwearable.
If a jacket just looks good but is uncomfortable, then I wouldn't wear it.
And if it's comfortable but doesn't look good, neither.

Whether wide, tight, comfortable or uncomfortable. The main thing is to be happy with your choice.
