Damn $1750 is much cheaper than original retail of over$1900.
Having said that I wouldn't invest on this brand, with so many better options out there. I do wonder how long they'll stay in business with such competition and open cross border commerce across many bespoke makers.
I'm sure.I don't think Lobb St. James is in any danger of going out of business anytime soon.
I've been out of the game for a while but I was told that Japanese customers hiked the price up for a pair of bespoke Oxfords by quite a bit. Is this true? I remember there was a time when you could get JL bespoke for maybe $1500 USD. They even offered two pairs for one order.

JLP bespoke is just over $7000 starting in the US and over 9000€ in Paris. Not sure about JLSJ.
JLSJ is considered to be the more superior of the two no?
Does John Lobb make the 7000 last in EEE / G width?
If memory serves, you wear an E in Alden, correct? The 7000 in EE is quite wide already. I take an EE in Alden Barrie, E in TruBalance, G in CJ Pembroke, H in Bonafe and Vass last's, abd the JL 7k in EE is a great fit for me.
Have you tried an EE yet? I think it may work for you.
