most all jl is size down one though, right? havent tried a jl that I didnt size down. cant comment on wide feet

I personally wear the same size on both the 8K and 7K but the 8K is more fitted (not enough to size up). I also wear the same size on the 8695 and their loafer lasts (I can't remember off hand).

Are these chambord boots or shoes? What soles do they have? How does last 8695 fit in respect to last 7000?

They are boots and were on 8000 IIRC.

Not all, these are just the shoes have a reddish tint to them. The Chambord II boots are only my second pair of suede shoes and I will need to pick up some suede protectors before I walk around in them.
