Hey guys, has anybody bought John Lobbs from Barneys' website? Is a 9M, a UK8?

Help is appreciated!
Yes, the sizes quoted are the US sizes.

9M is UK8. I ordered 11M which is UK10 JL.

Kirby Allison just posted an hour long YouTube video on John Lobb SJ. The Lobb guys aren’t exactly the most charismatic bunch but still cool to watch.

I just finished watching. Well worth an hour of your time.

The brothers don’t look as if they really like each other. May just be camera shy!

When I watched the video, it sounded like Jonathan worked there for some time while the other brother recently decided to start working there. Maybe that caused some animosity or they’re just not very charismatic in front of the camera.

Yup. One has only been there 5 yrs, if I heard right.

Agree, they may not be camera people.

For me the experience alone would justify the price. Honestly who is making better shoes than JLSJ. Perhaps I'm guilty of romanticizing the whole thing. So very few people do things to that level of quality. Sharing the shoemaker with some of history's must influential people is pretty cool.

Yes it look like they are not camera people.
