its not even the depth of the neck its the width of it that bothers me on the replica

Have you tried it on? I felt the same way as you when I first saw the pics. I got the chance to try it on in New York and I was instantly sold on the fit. I'm wearing a small in the picture because that's all they had in-stock. I generally wear a medium up top.

yeah im not wild about about wearing an under tee that shows both above and below the thermal layer so im really excited to see what this thermal tee / baselayer is

I would usually assume that you have the best kicks in the room but I see Mr Galaxy Foamposites over there...
