I’m always intrigued by this, who is their ideal customer? I myself am balling on a budget and I feel like a lot of you guys on here are as well. So I just don’t see anyone buying these, unless you’re an athlete or a popstar and at that point you’re probably gifted these sorts of things. ??‍♂️ And if you’re banking on people touching them and falling in love, it seems like with the recent Barneys closing and retail not doing great in general, the likelihood would be low that someone would actually get a chance to try them on. I don’t see retailers like Nordstrom stocking $2k MEN’S leather sweats

Unless the current retail market changes things, but retailers have always had some items like this. They just don't carry then in huge quantities as they don't really move easily. I got a pair of Vince leather joggers from Saks a 2-3 years ago.

Washed Graphite with Talentless Bone hoodie. Really liking the fit and wash of the hoodie. I'd suggest anyone considering trying them out to go for it. View attachment 1325388

Hoodie looks like it fits great! Been eyeing talentless for a minute and it looks like they nailed the oversized look. I love my Uni LA hoodie but it’s definitely more fitted and not oversized. I may give Scott a shot next time they have a sale.

And this is “right”?!!

it’s a leather bomber jacket that looks no different from the ones I see in All Saints.

also bare in mind this is the owner of the brand who will have it custom made.

the Bogotá 2 silouhette sucks and it sucks hard. The arms can be used as wind socks at the end of your local airfield.

If it was Bogotá 1 it would be better, but even if it was it’s just a leather bomber you can buy for peanuts.

Looks right to me, I'm sure JE wont be using the exact template for the leather bombers as the Bogota 2's just the fact that the leather ones aren't insulated would require a new template.

looking at the insta shots of the jacket, the arms are enormous, what with John saying himself that it’s cropped I’d say it’s going to be very close to the Bogotá 2

but hey, it’s each to their own.

I still have the OG Blackmeans Leather Varsity which does imo work better as being more unique than this new leather bogota. The extra piping details on the shoulders is amazing and the fit is A+. Can’t believe I almost let it go trying to cut down on stuff when we were moving. That said, you can’t storm in here and use the fact that other brands make something similar for cheaper as your reasoning for why this crowd shouldn’t cop. That’s basically 90% of what JE makes. I’m not gonna get into the quality argument again cause it’s pretty clear everybody on here has their own ideas of what that means and what they care to pay for.

It’s sad that their won’t be anymore Blackmeans stuff. I really wish I would have picked up that yuji bomber. I love the yuji rider and wear it a ton, it’s crazy good

I have to agree that the arms too wide for my taste when I tried it on. And although it looks great on the models etc. I can imagine when I put it on it will make my arms look big compared to the proportions. Just like the other Bogota 2s. I’m skinny athletic build.

However you can get well made bombers tailored. I had a really nice bomber tailored at Alteration Specialists in Manhattan a couple months ago. They charged $165 for sleeve shortening and tapering. Which is ridiculous and I probably will not be doing it again. But they did do a good job.

With leather quality is everything. Who cares if it looks like AllSaints. AllSaints leather quality is not good. Idk about the new JE leather. But AllSaints is def. not good. It looks like Sandro leather bomber also. Which goes for $1k or $700 at discount. And Sandro does have decent quality leather.

Leopard court shorts vs the practice shorts. The differences are obvious. I personally like the practice cut more but will keep the new ones as I like the color and print.

also with the tragedy that took place yesterday, I would love a pair of black mamba practice shorts.

As I have mentioned many times before, one of the attractions for me to JE has been the sportswear connection. While Kobe was the adversary for Bay Area fans, you have to appreciate what he did for the game.
