Jantzen Suit Over A Weekend?

I'm going to be traveling to Hong Kong in a couple of weeks, arriving on a Thursday night and leaving the following Monday. Since it's for work, I don't know how easily I could make it to Jantzen's for a fitting, but do you think it would be possible for them to make a suit in such a short time? From what I've seen on here I think not.

WW Chan is well out of my price range, but if anyone has suggestions in the same ballpark as Jantzen, I'd appreciate it.

I have no firsthand knoweldge, but I'm pretty sure that's impossible. Even an establishment known for swift turnaround wouldn't be able to make a full suit ina matter of days, especially when two of those days are weekends. Jantzen, as everyone knows, hardly has a reputation for swift turnarounds.

Why not go in for a fitting and have them send it to you when it's done?

I was afraid of that. My colleague who will be traveling with me apparently knows of places that will be able to construct a suit in that timeframe, but I suspect the quality may be lacking.

As for Jantzen shipping it--you mean they'd be able to send it to the States? I wonder what the bill would be for that type of shipping...

Considering that they ship shirts at such a reasonable price I suspect that the bill would be relatively low cost.

Sam's asks for a minimum of two days (two fittings) and I don't think that weekends would be problematic.

For that time frame and price, what quality work do you look for?
Here in HK, many tailors at TST and Central claim they can make a bespoke suit for 24 hours.

Sam's sure can do it in 3 days, quality is another issue. They open 7 days a week.

I'd reconsider your plan because:
- Jantzen's suits aren't really that good, as I was informed by a very long time customer.
- As what kolecho said, caveat emptor on hurried jobs.

But if you must insist, turnover if you're personally there is fast. I'm sure there are a slew of other decent tailors there that can accomodate you and your budget.

what's the price range on a Sam's tailor suit? 3 business days is insanely fast and obviously there would be a lot of machine-sewn parts for the suits to be made so fast...
