JKISSI, whats the odds of J.Crew hiring someone with little clothing retail experience? But having a good amount of retail work elsewhere ?

and you going to be at the Men's Store on Broadway ?

thanks in advance.

Seany - I'm really unsure about the general J.Crew requirements maybe Will could chime in on that since he has worked for them.

Correct Men's Store on Broadway looking forward to it. I'm intrigued on how they move with what is going on outside for example I 'modeled' for HillSide brand and little do I know they carry the full collection in the mens shop and online. It's always great to have someone in a company that is aware of whats going on outside of the store.

any thoughts on the ludlow suit?
I only own 2 suits as of now one from h&m and one D&G both in 38R. I like a slim-cut suit but the h&m pants are VERY slim with a real low rise. I am 5'11" 165lbs
I have jcrew urban slim stanton pants in 31 waist and they fit well.
how is the fit on the ludlow suit? I figured i should just go with a 38R jacket and 31W pants
the fit in the picture online looks great but I know that can be quite deceiving. Is it pretty slim IRL?

any better recommendations for a slim cotton suit?

38R is my size. You'll love the suit. I own the navy and charcoal suits and they look great on me. I get lots of compliments on it from the ladies (though they never really see me in a suit, but still). The fit is perfect, and I've never done any alterations to it. Fit right off the rack for me.

I know its fall/winter related but does the Lumberjack flannel shirt run a bit big like the Chambray's?

Yes. I'm comfortable with mine in my usual size, but I could see sizing down for a slimmer fit.

Question on outerwear that isn't really S/S related at all...

Cadet jacket or fatigue jacket... which one to go with? I'd be wearing it with an untucked button-down or t-shirt, so I'm slightly wary of the length of the cadet jacket. Then again, I'm 5'7" so I think it might work out in the end.

I was going to buy one. They don't have my size but I'll wait. I think there might be another % off promotion, so I'll wait a few days before pulling the trigger.
