I like the idea of the fireman style buckles/clasps in front, although they seemed a bit thin. Would have prefered some heavier hardware. Nice stand up collar with a corduroy backing.

$268 is probably a bit steep. A 20% off sale with a rewards card should get it to a sweet spot. Too cold anyway in NYC for this weight jacket right now.

So this is in stores now?

I didn't dig the color myself, or the design.

I own the honey brown and faded black. The honey brown is the same color as seen in the catalog and as Robert stated. Faded black seems to have a slight dark-greenish hue to it in sunlight, which I think looks pretty nice. Both are perfect spring jackets and are lightweight. Also bought the utility in shadow on sale. Maybe I should return 1 lol..

Wha...? No, actually, you're right. I guess I meant "hot" in the sense of "easy."

How does the shadow compare to the cadet jacket in terms the weight of the cloth and wearing it for spring or even fall in a warm place like LA? I've seen the cadet jacket in store so I can gauge where the utility might be in relation(plus I like the utility more).

I'd be interested in a heads up on that too.

The weight is pretty much the same. Perfect for spring or fall. It's really light so you can layer it with either a tee or a shirt depending on the weather.
