The flannel shirt in winterbrook plaid seems really nice: http://www.jcrew.com/mens_category/s...9030/29030.jsp How is the slim fit compared to the regular? I'm 5'11" and 160 lbs...thinking of a small in slim. Right now they have free shipping on $100 order...any chance of 20% coupon coming also anytime soon for online? Also, can you combine 20% with free shipping when available?

I think it's extremely unlikely that JC will release a general merch coupon until either (1) after Thanksgiving (2) after Christmas, with the latter more likely (if they even release a general merch coupon this year).

Also, you can't combine coupon codes at JC, and you can only enjoy the free shipping via a coupon code.

Yep I'm going to pull the trigger on the blue chambray and winterbrook (slim) flannel...thinking both in small though not sure if i should go xs on the chambray which isnt slim (5'11" 160 lbs).

Will be first J Crew purchase. Lets see what all the fuss is about.

I want to wear the chambray untucked in small (5'10 and 160 lbs not muscular...skinny) I understand you said it would fit well but would the small be too long untucked? Going over this thread seems like many people find their shirts too long.

Received my wool cardigan ($188) and Fair Isle Sweater ($98) both going back to the store tomorrow. Wool cardigan... too loose and clunky for my taste. Fair isle sweater... my head could barely fit through it... disappointed to say the least.
