Matching classic fit pants with slim jacket on j crew ludlow unstructured?

So I just purchased the Ludlow slim fit unstructured linen suit from J Crew.
On a lark I checked some reseller sites and found the pants (new with tags) in my size and the same color (navy), labeled as “classic fit”- it doesn’t seem like j crew offers the unstructured linen in a classic fit at the moment, but I’m wondering 2 things:
1. Will their classic fit pants look alright with a “slim fit” jacket? I’m a fairly trim guy, and the slim fit jacket looks great, but I may prefer a classic cut in the leg.

2. What are the chances the color will truly match (both new suit and classic-fit pants are navy)? The pics look promising, but of course it’s really hard to tell online. I don’t know when they had a classic cut available on the Ludlow unstructured linen, but maybe someone on here has more knowledge of the Ludlow line.

Don't know about the color, but the classic fit pants are still fairly slim in my experience.

Yeah, that's what I figured -- I don't mind a slimmer look, but I think their "classic" might just be a little less extreme.

Yes it is, it's still a slim look to me but not skin tight.
