Is american apparel good for anythign else besides T-shirts?

Question about the hoodie - what size should I get if I'm roughly a j crew small? I'm about a 36 chest, 30 waist, 5'7 145 pounds.

According to the site I should also order a small, but I have a size medium AA tshirt that fits well, whereas the small fit too tight, IIRC.

wow, i was going to ask the same thing and i'm the same chest/waist measurement.

I would get a small. I'm 6' 170-175 and I wear a medium in their hoodies. I think the medium would be too long on you.

The hoodies are a nice fit. I don't like the tee-shirts.

So does anyone have any opinions on their oxfords? Or perhaps a recommendation for another company that offers a nice fit at a low price point?

don't know if anyone's already mentioned this, but stopped by AA and picked up their nantucket fleece hoody today. really cool piece...kinda combines what i like about the flex fleece and california hoody - very soft and comfy fleece lining like the flex fleece w/ the shorter and slightly plushier feel of the california, and without the raglan sleeves. my favorite AA hoody so far...hope it comes in other colors in the future.

disappointed by their flex fleece sweats though...longer than I thought it would be, and no pockets is dumb.

so if i'm right between you guys (5'10") and 140 should i get small or medium for their hoodies

The Small fit me perfectly (snugly) when I was 5'9" and 140. I'm now 155, which is why I'm selling my AA hoodie (see signature).

I would get a small. I never leave my clothes in the dryer for more than 5 to 10 minutes though before I take them out and airdry. The length of the small should be fine as long as you don't shrink it.
