One doesn't really imagine Godalming as a sodomy hotspot, does one? Doesn't really seem that type of place. Don't suppose there's much else to keep the pupils occupied, mind you. One lives and learns.

These comments are so snarky, they did make me chuckle. I love the SF American guys, so I'm not being nasty when I say the above comments reminded me of In Bruge and Colin Farrell warning a fat family not to go up some stairs.

LOL

I am European and when I look around in the street, I see loads of people in athletic sneakers and shorts... And I am not refering to the local marathon...

Mostly the trainers Europeans wear when not engaging in sports are of the Addidas / Puma streetwear kind. They are not the bloated astronaut booties most 'Mericans seem to favor.

On the occasions when Europeans wear shorts they are usually cotton, and fairly well fitted. They are almost never baggy or made of denim. If you see Europeans wearing baggy or denim shorts, you are hanging out with the wrong kind of Europeans. ;-)

Don't be scurrilous. I said Eton, not Westminster.
