Just get a cheapo Timex Ironman. Tons of memory to save your lap times and lasts forever. Some models come with neat additional features like heart rate monitor or iPod control, if you need.

Did some trail and hills/stairs over the last couple of days. Around 3 miles each run. Ultimate frisbee today, so perhaps a long run tomorrow if weather allows.

Ran 5k outside for the first time since November... 20:30 . I'm happy and I'm unhappy. I ran 18min 5k's a few months ago, but also today I pushed myself in the 30 degree cold. Time to start training again.

Did that once on a long run many years back, except I had Jack in the Box.

This - I have a 100 lap ironman that's been going strong since '02. oh, and today: 8 miles broken into 4-mail segments. First four - 30:30. Went in, asked the peeps if they want to come with (they said no), went out again for another four in 32-ish. Didn't sleep well at all last night: damn dog kept waking me up.

3 and a bit. I'm still on the road, so I did it on a running track at a hotel. it was one of the nicest running tracks I've ever run on, it was set up to twist around stuff, so about half of it had windows (10nth floor with a cool view) and half was sort of like in tunnels. not at all boring

I run 2 miles today because I have started this before a week. That's why speed is too slow. But I know it will increase for 5-6 miles per day one week after.

4 miles this morning, modest pace, 30:40. Getting ready for a 10k on Saturday, and just want to keep the legs moving without wearing them down.

Thanks! Totally forgot about that.

I guess I just prefer racking up those miles on Nike+. ha!

Good job Jeff! Are you planning on doing any races soon?

Good luck with that - make sure you don't increase your mileage too quickly.

Good luck T - what time are you aiming for on that 10K?

It depends on how much bounce I have in my legs. 45 minutes should be feasible, with a nod towards 43 depending on conditions.
