can anyone help me with some running tips and tricks, like how to build more endurance? I have been trying for the last 3 months but all I can do is 10km in 1-hour session (a little bit more than 6 miles). I'm not focusing on speed or time, I just want to run more than 10 km. No matter how slow I run, 10km seems to be my limit.
The run/walk method is a good suggestion. The other suggestion I'd make is to just slow down a bit more so you're not as drained when you hit that 6 mile mark.
I guess this is basically the same approach as the run/walk method, just averaging out that pace so it's a bit more steady.
One other suggestion is to go somewhere different to run or set a goal that you want to reach neighborhood x that is y miles away, pretty much ensuring that you'll get more than your typical 6 miles. A change of scenery can make a big difference in my experience.
