If the Golden Ratio does not dictate your lapel width, you cannot consider yourself well dressed.
Mathematical, or philosophical?

I like the suit a lot, but I wonder whether your figure would benefit from a somewhat built-up shoulder, like that:

Yep, I'm with you. As soft shoulders go, these lay the cleanest of any jacket I own, but at some point I definitely intend to try a maker with a house style that's more built up. Might join some of the San Francisco contingent for a go at Steed when they come back in October. Thanks for the feedback and the image!I like the suit a lot, but I wonder whether your figure would benefit from a somewhat built-up shoulder, like that:
Martin Greenfield gets no love on SF, but they do great work if you like a classic american style. For those that live in the NYC area, once or twice a year they do a deal on gilt where it is ~$1400 for a "MTM" suit in a solid range of fabrics (you can upgrade if you want something with a high #). I use MTM in quotes because they call it that, but there was a basted fitting, maybe not quite a full bespoke, but more than a typical MTM process.martin greenfield indigo dyed crunchy linen
