The pants look a bit short, they should be no break but I didn’t adjust my suspenders properly.

Another … errr … classic from @dapperclassic there! Well done.

I was thinking about your pics. When I first joined SF I dismissed pics displaying clothes that I myself wouldn’t wear. Same way I’m an art ignoramus and my appreciation of art largely ends at “would I have that in my house?”

I suppose it’s indicative of a certain maturation in one’s style journey that we begin to appreciate outfits outside of those we would wear.

I have a lot of admiration for your SF pics even though I don’t really do earth tones much, I don’t do knitwear, I don’t have much need for winter clothes, I don’t do pleated strides, I don’t do turnups, I don’t do BDs with ties … 😁

I have a pair of RLP off-white winter wool flannels very similar to these. I had them on a couple of weeks ago and as good as they look in your pic they didn’t feel right to me. I put them on the ‘eBay pile’ but having seen this pic I may be persuaded to give them one more chance! I’ve had them a few years now and in that time I’ve only had them on once or twice!

Hard to beat a PoW suit with blue overcheck. I have one in summer weight worsted. Is yours flannel? Is the base colour black or charcoal? Black (lace-up, obvs!!) shoes might have been a better choice but I’m having a deja vu here that this might have been discussed before.

That shirt looks perfectly fine to me - when you say F/W shirts you mean in heavier cottons, oxford material?
Yes - A fall winter option. I’m not a huge fan of my spread collars worn without a tie. I’ll do it (obviously as seen above) but it’s not my favorite look, particularly given my solid white shirts are twill and more formal than that outfit probably calls for.

In the spring/summer I sub in cotton/linen shirts with one piece collars that my Italian shirt maker makes me. Fall/winter variant I have fewer options for casual shirts. Permanent Style’s oxford cloth is supposed to be lovely but is sold out in the shades I’d grab.

I never really thought of this…I have both summer and winter shoes (boots to loafers) jackets, trousers, socks, hats, ties and I even have light-weight scarves and mid-weight jackets and trousers for the changing Spring and Fall seasons, and it all makes sense, but now, thanks to you, I am going to be paranoid about the weight of my shirts!?! You sartorial nerds are killing me. I simultaneously love and hate reading and following SF.
