my partner knows I love Italian tailoring & was extremely excited to show me this 3 button Giorgio Armani suit she bought me & is incredibly happy to see me wear it. I thought it best not to inform her black suits are not the de rigueur & happily accepted the gift, what can ya do haha.

You heard wrong!
“We” would never wear knitwear under a tailored jacket but if “we” some day found ourselves in Bizzaro World, if “we” ever do emulate Cyril Figgis …
1. You have permission to shoot me, and
2. “We” would never tuck it in! 😁
You get a point for the Archer reference. Still, I tuck sweaters all day.

I’ll be sure to attach a list of users next time I use the word we. I’d never shoot you. If anyone ever tried, I trust your hard three button jackets are bulletproof.

😵‍💫
Wait til you see what I wore today.

The outfit is great. Only thing that bothers me a bit: the proportions between your shoulders, the lapels and the ties. I think it would be better if the lapels and the ties were narrower.
Is that a British jacket ?

Does anyone have an idea for people in Aus (or a good brand that can ship to Aus) for a wholecut oxford shoe that isn't $600 AUD? Would love a pair of Crockett and Jones, but they are a bit too pricey for me and I wear my stuff 5 days a week so would be doing a lot of walking and don't want to thrash a shoe like that.

Cheers
