Here is some trivia: the word in Brazilian Portuguese for a suit is "terno", which is related to the word three. Today, terno is used for any suit, two- or three-piece, single- or double-breasted. So if somebody in Brazil wants to refer to a three-piece suit, they are likely to say a three-piece three-piece suit. Not a major issue, as it is usually too warm for anybody to wear a three-piece suit in Brazil. In Portugal, the word for a suit is different (fato). Since I am not in Brazil, I get to wear three-piece suits without people thinking I am an alien.

Oh, and for those that love unique handmade things, socks were a gift from an Italian friend. His uncle owns two small stores in Rome; the charm of the socks comes from the fact that his uncle mixes the colors for every batch of socks himself, and thus there is no standardization. I can't get socks exactly like this even if I wanted to.

Awesome. I really like the peak lapels with the collard waistcoat.

Two nitpicks. I think the tie knot is too large for this collar. A wider collar with this knot or a smaller knot with this collar would look better IMO. Second, I think you’re tying your shoes wrong. The bow is parallel to your toes instead of perpendicular to them. I was doing the same thing fairly late in life as well until a SF member pointed it out. Not a huge deal of course. Look it up if you care to.

The comments are much appreciated. I don't disagree with you. I bought this tie to wear with two-piece suits. Your comment validates my concern that it does not really work with a 3-piece suit. As for the correct way of tying shoelaces, I know what I am supposed to do. Still, I fail to do it consistently. I can live with that.

Edit to add: I post mostly fits that I am not 100% happy with, as I know how to accomplish the standard fits for standard situations (power suits, muted conservative attire, asymmetric ensembles, etc). It is more fun to post when I am experimenting but that may be just me. Thus, I truly appreciate the comments.
