Agree on the square. The outfit stands beautifully on its own so a toned down squareor no square would be my preference
I think the squares look too exaggerated as i usually post close up shots but ill definitely make an attempt to tone it down.

Honestly, I'm not even sure you'd need a different/plainer square to sober the look up a bit. The "points out" approach is one that just looks sloppy to me, as it almost necessitates that you show an extreme amount of square to highlight the square's design, rather than the outermost edges, which creates the exploding/runaway square look. Take the below for reference. In full view, it's what I would consider a bold design, but, when worn as a puff, it appears (relatively) subdued. Given your bold aesthetic preferences, I think a wearing a puffed square would serve as a useful complementary piece, without overpowering the other facets of the outfit.

Risha, the pocket square is a bridge too far but I love the boldness. You'd fit right in at the Southern Trad thread. You are the dresser Riva wishes he could be. No one should make the mistake of thinking that color isn't compatible with a classic style.
Would the pocket square work with a less ostentatious fold?
