Great color SC, helden, though I wish the lapels were a tad wider.

Thanks, Stitch--for what it's worth, so do I. In an ideal world I'd also lower the buttoning point a bit, but this came my way at too good an offer to resist.

I know exactly what you mean. I have no shortage of things that fit/are cut well enough but not perfect. No reason not to wear them, but I still felt like pointing it out because Im a doosher.

Very nice, Braddock. You're flipping the bird at winter with those trousers.

The whole thing makes you look very hip heavy. Perhaps it's best to pass it on?

+1. The long and rather closed quarters are not doing you any favours @heldentenor , sorry. The effect may be exaggerated by the camera angle, but still...

I thought that but I think its mostly the pic angle. I bet IRL its not much of an issue. Just my guess.

You may well be right. Unfortunately, a real life meetup with @heldentenor for verification seems unlikely to happen: I think our locations are as far remote as is possible on this globe

I like Sander's suit/shoe combo. But I might be twisted in this. A bright suit like that works with contrast.

Thanks for the feedback, gentlemen. I think it's a little of column A and a little of column B--the jacket has long quarters, I am a bit "hippy" in the sense that I have a small waist relative to chest/shoulders/hips, and I'm proportioned such that a jacket that covers my seat (as this one does) can look long in front. That said, the camera angle, the iPhone's lens distortion, and the picture cropping all exaggerate these issues. I'll see if I can get a more accurate representation this afternoon.

@EliodA a journey to Jakarta sounds pretty appealing right about now; the overnight low in my city is -24o C.

So who are the london'ers on here?

I'm going to be in town from march 26 to the 30th or so. It'd be great to meet up if anyone's around!
