25 years old tie received from my father, a tad too slim for my tastes, but I quite fancy colours and pattern.

Damnit Kulata! You can't just show us small teasers like that. That suit demands a full fit pic!
The weather outside is nasty and I tried with indoor lights and it was horrible but will show a full fit soon.
Ooooh. This is a fun debate! I really like the sharp contrast. I think its really a ymmv kind of thing. I have a hard time saying its objectively good or bad looking, but it always gets lovers and non-lovers.
Do it now!
When it comes to formal attire (like that lovely DB suit) sharp contrasts between footwear and trousers go against my sense of feng shoey.
I hear ya, but the tie is not all that formal, and the suit color is lighter than navy, so it all comes together for me.
Some new/newish stuff today, featuring affiliate vendors NMWA, Luxire, Epaulet, and Exquisite Trimmings.
I really like this shade of blue with this shade of brown. In this outfit it also balances top and bottom: the tie is equally light.
Vintage suit from the 1940´s. Price $12:50. (The fact is, I bought two almost identical suits for $25)
Very nice Albert
