1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Did monochrome again today, but in greys rather than blues. I reckon this one works a bit better than the blue outfit; what do you guys think?

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I hate the new update for the Photobucket app. I couldn't get the damn thing to give me the img code.

Evil, my wife would strongly disagree with you. She says I look like a creep!

    yes

really? i have it on iphone. i upload my pics using the iphone app, then i go to my laptop and edit them, and use the img code from there. copy pasta to SF. viola!

id say total time is maybe 10 minutes per set of fit pics to have the pics taken, upload to PB, edit, and then post.

and then about 2 hours deciding which pic to use. :p

And if I flip the collar over, it can make a lapel of sorts. Weird, but I think it looks a little nutso in a good way.

Not the best pants for the getup, but I think they worked okay. I reached over to put on jeans this morning and they had a huge stain from when I spilled food on them at a restaurant last week. 2 margaritas did me in. Sigh for being a lightweight, but hey atleast I'm a cheap date!

Shirt sleeves are a little short, but I also hiked them up for something earlier and forgot to let them back down!

Yeah, I've been trying to figure out how to wear this jacket at work. It's part of a suit and I have the black pants to go with it.

Nehru jackets are hard though. I don't own any round collar dress shirts, but I could do a T-shirt underneath if I keep it mostly buttoned the entire day. Or a sweater for that matter. That might look good.

I wanted to see what it looks like with a collar shirt and a Tie and it's pretty okay. Not as garish as I thought it would be. The 'lapel' thing was mostly for comedic effect, though that wasn't bad. Or so I thought.

They are, because they don't look good at all, no matter how you incorprate them.

There's a certain irony in telling an indian man that nehru jackets should be tossed out.

Though on the other hand, if I keep wearing jackets that you guys hate then my ugly ties might escape notice!

Look, I didn't mean to be insensitive about your cultural background (which I didn't even realize), I stated my opinion from a classic-menswear-perspective.

There are a lot of great infos in this forum and a lot of people already tried to help you with their posts. I doesn't happen over night, but if you incorporate your newfound knowledge in future investments, you'll improve your outfits over time. Promise.

Such jackets would be better in a SWD fit. No tie, no PS, no red chino pants and no collar shirt.

rtc, no hate, but that fit was turrble. I know you like being silly and what not, but posting fit pits like that in an essentially classically oriented mens dress thread, will invariably lead to strong criticism, and rightfully so.

You don't have to change how you dress, but you should know what environment you are presenting yourself in. Take it all in, and learn if you so choose.

    :)
