1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

The tie is a rather loud number by Duchamp. I know it probably won't have many fans on this forum. Sometimes I like to wear things like this though, especially around the office when the majority are wearing non-existent ties or ill fitting shirts and suits.

Is a cold day in Dublin today so I had to break out the wool overcoat.

As one who doesn't always get it right myself, I'll leave those details to others in the forum-- but take a look at the most recent posted pictures from fellow members. note where the notches of the lapels hit them in relation to the chest/ shoulder. to me, this elevates the style, overall cut, and look of the jacket. last time I bought a suit with "normal" trousers, I think they took an inch out of the entire length of them and seemed to make a world of difference to me. I don't like em TOO narrow or tapered down to a tight ankle/ anything too extreme. if you're looking for a new jacket, def recommend checking out both www.yoox.com (lubiam, boglioli, possibly lbm 1911) or suitsupply.com

So real question. I got flack for the pockets on this jacket below. I agree that my fit was off, but the pockets on clag's jacket are similar. Just trying to understand why one stands out so much more than the other. Obviously, my fit 'issues' make everything stand out more.

Because JAB, MW and department stores in the suburbs rarely put patch pockets on their jackets. The same people giving you flak are probably wearing ventless jackets.

I was getting flack on here though. I think stitchy had brought it up? Is the jacket dated in general or does it just need to be brought in at the waist?
