Ich_dien, nice colors in your outfit but those trousers are way too short (even more so with those loafers). I think a slight break will look good on your frame -- the jacket could also be a tad longer. The overall effect is very thom brownish, though it may be your intended look.

Thanks for the input. My main concern is that the shirt and jacket work. My wife isn't wild about them.
I've hitched the pants up a bit to show the socks. They actually do break, right at the tassels.
I had to look up who Thom Browne is. I'm flattered that he copys me.

Checks and checks OK?

It can work, but try using a pairing that isn't so close in value. That very pale, desaturated jacket is nice but would look better with something like a navy and white gingham -- so you'd have more contrast but complimentary colours.

Now, about those "dad jeans"... :D

In principle, sure. I think this combo is a swing and a miss, though. The values of the shirt and jacket are too similar, and the colors aren't working well together.

The belt and shoes are a bit matchy, but I accept that opinions differ on this. Finally, the jacket (at least in this picture) doesn't appear to be of sufficient weight or texture to play nicely with the denim.

Jacket: Reiss
Tie: Drakes
Jeans: Uniqlo
Shoes: CJ Handgrade

I think this is a good look, but will be better with light grey trouser since you are wearing a tie

Very good otherwise

From today, earlier. During the one hour or so it didn't rain.

PS Please excuse the key bump in the right inner breast pocket.

The jacket is very nice

However I would use it tie-less with jeans or cargos

The pattern seems too causal for a tie

Really nice, will buy the same when the weather gets better!

Carmina shop here in Paris also has a sale right now. I think there are 4 models of shell cordovans that are on sale. Will post pictures of my shoe damage this trip after I get my Carmina's with metal toe taps.
