Bought some used Hanover LB sheppard longwiings. Just wanted to get your thoughts as to how I can make them wearable? The seller described them as cognac but I saw a older post calling them tan. I am guessing some Lexol conditioner, and shoe polish (what color?) do they need to be recrafted? Will it be possible they have leather soles and goodyear welts? Could these be considered a staple brown brogue or is the color to light? Thanks for your help. Hope that makes them look better.

So are they wearable as is? Also will tan shoe polish work?
