If QPR wasn’t a consideration would you wear one of these running shoes?
I don’t own any designers cloth and I don’t spend money on brands so please don’t judge! :) my gf suggested getting this for my birthday neither of us are flashy I do enjoy spending money on custom made or hand made pieces but never designers.
I have been wearing running shoes recently due to foot problems. Low top sneakers and loafers just aren’t as comfortable. She was suggesting getting me a nicer pair.

I would cut my feet off and set them on fire.

You will look way more classy if you just wear some grey Made in USA New Balances.

If you are considering these Gucci sneakers then you should get a matching Balmain t-shirt and ripped jeans to complete the look.

I'd rather play hopscotch in a minefield than walk a single step in these.
Haha you guys never disappoint!
I’m the same way with running shoes and chinos or dress pants. We were at the mall this past weekend and I could barely walk in my loafers. Recently the only type of shoes I can walk in have been running shoes but I’d never wear them with dress pants or even chinos.
Dress sneakers and loafers don’t really provide any cushioning so they get uncomfortable very quick.
My girlfriend was suggesting if she buys me these for my birthday would I consider wearing them in more dressed up situations. They were good enough for Kendall on succession.
Does anybody make dress sneakers with ticker soles and more cushioning? I have a pair of common projects and Allen Edmonds and neither one provides any cushioning.

Those do not look any more "dressed up" than any other sneaker (to speak to your girlfriend's comment), they would simply look more expensive since the giant logo on the side would mean most people would identify that they are made by an expensive designer/brand name. They actually look a lot like Skechers, I would say, and I don't think I've ever looked at a pair of Skechers and thought they were anything other than comfortable (in theory) sneakers.
If you're looking for a more comfortable dress shoe that has some sneaker elements to them (at least internally/out of obvious view), I believe Cole Haan used to have a bunch of shoes that were marketed in this way? I am remembering this from many years ago, so perhaps they longer do this, but that might be a step in a better direction. Also, if the pain is as bad as you're saying, you might need to think about orthotics and/or putting at least some level of comfort over looks.

Maybe check Doek Oxford canvas sneakers. They are flat, but have cork insoles so they are more comfortable than similar models from other brands and they can get dressed up in a casual dress pants/jacket outfit and still look great.

I've never tried true frankenshoe dress-sneaker hybrids. I do have one nice pair of AE minimalist sneakers in dark brown suede, and I find them very comfortable. The uppers needed a bit of break in like a dress shoe, but other than that, I can walk in them all day.

I do not mind smaller brands on my clothes sometimes, for instance a Ralph Lauren horse on a few of my shirts are fine, but I think this is too much branding for me.

Also, they are probably very expensive, and frankly do not look that good. I much prefer my NB sneakers :)
