Got my Two-Tone Corneliani Back from the Tailor (Pics)

Just to fill out the details:

Shirt: Brooks Brothers Slim Fit
Tie: Ike Behar
Shoes: CT/Loake Twyning

Looks very sharp. I love the styling of Corneliani... I am anxiously waiting on one I ordered from STP yesterday.

How much cuff would you say you're showing? I keep telling my tailor I want to show 1/2", but it doesn't seem to be enough.

I'm showing about 1/2"

When my tailor figures out how short he's going to make the sleeves he takes the measuring tape and measures upwards from the tip of my thumb (not sure how many inches up he goes). Are you sure the problem isn't that the sleeves on your shirts are too short?

Haha. Yeah, I'm really happy with my tailor. He's an old Italian guy from Naples who learned his tailoring there (has a cool certificate from some tailoring house in Naples on the wall). The biggest difference-maker is that he did something to the upper shoulder area and down the middle of the back that gets rid of that roll I always seem to get under the collar. He also took out a lot of the extra material in the middle of the back to give it a more fitted look.

I also asked him about his custom program. He said that he does 3 fittings, including a basted fitting and that his suits are all canvassed. He makes the custom suits in house. I guess you could call that bespoke.

It's definitely part of the problem. I hope to fix this when (well, more like "if") I receive my Jantzen order. I guess I just need to keep a closer eye on how my tailor is measuring.

That's bespoke indeed. Take advantage of it... I can't find a tailor in my town that doesn't just do alterations.

Sure. They call it two-tone because the pinstripes are a white and blue thread woven together.
