even the upper end casinos are still filled with t-shirt donning tourists.

there is no requirement to look like some kind of high roller. most aren't.

One thing you guys should consider is that he might be going to clubs, in which case he will need a collar and dress shoes (his t-shirt look is not going to cut it).

Yea, there's a group of 6 of us. 4 of whom are girls and said they will be in sequined dresses and heels the entire time. They want to go to clubs, too, and I basically don't want to look like trash standing next to them. Thanks for all the advice, though. I like that Tissot watch, but it's out of my price range. Perhaps I should just wait until I can afford something a little more versatile.

Yeah, I mean even if you're wearing a dress shirt and tie you literally won't get in if you're wearing sneakers. Make sure you have at least two dress shirts that fit you well so that you don't wear the same one two nights in a row, since your girlfriends wanting to get sloshed that the Tao two nights in a row is a certainty. Just go to the thrift store and pick up some shirts and spend the money you have remaining on a pair of shoes. I personally am going to recommend you go for something that isn't very dark since that's what 99% of the guys who are "dressed up" wear. It's really annoying looking around at everyone and seeing a sea of black.

yeah, you don't necessarily have to wear slacks either, you can wear a nice pair of jeans (your style choice may vary on what kind you like to wear) with a dress shirt (I know this isn't the normal SF approved way to go but it works in vegas)

You definitely need dress shoes as sneakers will get you denied access into almost any club.

Jeans, a couple dress shirts, and shoes will be probably the easiest way for you to look the part.

Don't turn your nose up at Vegas.

There's a Kiton store there, plus a Canali, Pal Zileri, Thomas Pink - stuff you wouldn't find in lots of other "classier" cities..

I go a few times a year, and I've been pretty impressed with what the shopping there is like..

That said, this fellow asking about what to wear shouldn't worry. You DO see everything there, and no matter what people are wearing, they all seem to be having a great time!

If you're going with women you better make sure they don't go to the club ahead of you. Usually it's tough for guys to get into clubs unless they have an in. Two guys with 4 girls should be no problem though, as long as you aren't wearing sneakers, hoodies, t-shirts, flip flops, etc.

I was wondering what would be considered nice to wear at the higher-end casinos like the Bellagio and Caesar's Palace? I have some ideas of what I think I can pull off. I like a lot of the Calvin Klein dress shirts and some Hugo Boss pants. Here's kind of my style of a pants and shirt combo:

Is this SF approved? I've been looking at some nice shoes, as well. I like some of the Allen Edmonds Oxfords, but not quite looking to spend that much. How is Cole Haan? Also, I need a watch to wear with dress-ier stuff, too. I know this is cheap, but how do you guys like it?

All in all, I just need help. Thanks greatly.

Dark, solid colored suit, white shirt, no tie or a sport jacket and coordinated pants. (but not khakis and a blue blazer, you will look like you are in town for the pharmacy convention) But this will put you in perhaps a crowd of one-half of one percent (most of which will work at high-end retail stores). Some may think "who is he trying to be"?

To fit it, dark pants and dark shirt un-tucked.
