    I just ordered the Hayes in Vintage Oak on the TG73 but am having second thoughts after seeing the DG70s............... thoughts?

    Both are fine - if you like the TG73 then stay with it would be my free advise.

    Speaking of a wholecut seamless derby, Lattanzi made such a pair. It was also wood-pegged and had a goyser stitching.

    this is also 100% seamless? when i was in shanghai i seemed to recall this have a skin sticthed inside seam - thro i might be wrong

    oh yes it is seamless but also has a tongue peice too

    Yep, the lacing, that was my point...I think you'll hqve to buy them some drinks afterwards if you seriously going to torture them with that [​IMG].

    Ask for grained or heavily textured exotic leather, that would make it even more difficult [​IMG].

    buying drinks has never been an issue [​IMG]

    thro to be frank, i dont think i'd do it again[​IMG]

    Actually, this was a sample pair done up for Paul Stuart, which accounts for the differing sole design. I'm fortunate that my G&G sizing (8D) happens to be what they use for all their trunk shows and samples.
