I suspect he means a more even gradient, or transition, from dark to light on the cap toe. As currently, there is a sharp transition, going from solid dark to a drastically lighter color almost instantly.

Not sure that helped...

Ah now I understand. Will buy light brown wax and try it out and see how it looks :)

I did this with dark brown on my C&J Chelsea boots this spring.

Wow that came out really nice. Will def do this way on mine aswell. So you go with black at first and then up little light brown, correct?

I think the easiest way to achieve this would be to strip of the wax you have applied now and start over again.

I personally like mixing it up, I even use green wax on some of my brown shows. But I would advise you to start with dark brown wax.

thought you did not like the royal blue and midnight combo?
Just posted them from tumblr to see the thoughts. I actually like the midnight color but if the suede could be the same color aswell I would wear them without a problem.
