That's a nice look!

Here's what I came up with: started with 4 coats of Bordeaux cream then 2 coats of black on the toe box ending where my crease is.

Then I went with a light mirror polish with black wax on the toe box also ending by my natural crease. I let it sit over night then added a coat of clear wax followed by a coat of black wax just up until the end of the broguing. Then, one more black wax coat halfway of the broguing just to achieve a gradual coloring from toe to vamp.

Very dandy model and colors.

haha yeah - I stand out like a sore thumb. My office doesn't care though. My top is still relatively toned down: navy SC, white shirt, gray tie - so I get away with it for the most part.

The trous are more maroon tweed IRL

I took some pictures of my Decos today because I've put them up on B&S. I love them to death, but my wardrobe has moved in a different direction. The thing I still love most about them though - I can also tell you what stitcheroo loves most as well - is the color gradations from the toe bleaching that is done with the Deco black.

I think that one will always get me.

I can either be possessive of them and let them sit on a shelf and rot, or they can move along and I can spend the money on my wife. Overall, I think the second option is preferable.
