G&G's Chelsea boots are fantastic. Not having a seam below the elastic, or pull tabs at the throat really sets them apart IMO.

Will be purchasing a pair of G&G Canterbury but there's a 4 week wait for boot trees!.

Will standard trees be fine?

stitch, you ever get your pair?
beautiful! not yet, 4 months now, hopefully soon(ish) hhnggggggghhhhhhhh
interesting how they stitched it. different from EG. seems like this would limit getting your foot in the shoe if you can not move the tongue
of the 2 G&Gs i tried on, both had stitched tongues. one slipped on fine, one was tight getting in. i think it has more to do with the foot opening size and shape than the tongue stitch. also, its only stitched on one side, so there is plenty of play on the other side to open up the shoe and put in your foot.
Im not a fan of this stitch, FWIW.
how about this one?
Fwiw, I like the stitch!
me too!
It appears then, that we have a stitchuation.
you rang!?!
remove the stitch - stitchuation solved. what's stitchys take on this...?
please do not remove me. that is my take.

four weeks, what's the problem? use standard trees and replace them after the bootsies are available. it's not rocket science, imo.
