I love Fair Isle. It reveals who the philistines in a person's life are (i.e.: everyone who thinks it's an "ugly" sweater).

Also, what's with all the V necks? A crew neck and tie FTW!

I just can't get down with a crew neck sweater and a tie. It doesn't do justice for the tie and shirt. The v neck is a better stage for display IMO. I just assume you're wearing a dickie.

The self conscious display of the tie is exactly what I have come to dislike about V necks.

That's the same way I feel about peiople who leave the top buttons of vests (or cardigans) unbuttoned when they are wearing a necktie. Anyone who wants all of their tie to show when wearing a vest (or cardigan) should wear a bow tie.

Great challenge, have to pass on this one, I only have fair isle socks, no knitwear. I've been trying to get onboard a challenge these last few weeks but a lot of them has been really "challenging". Hence the thread name...döööh. :)

Well it seems like socks are ok. So bring it on.
