This week the challenge will be to wear Fair Isle, in fact it's a pretty classical and historical pattern, but nowadays Fair Isle had abad reputation and many of us find it too flashy.

You can wear tie or not, casual fit are accepted, well, you just have to wear one item with Fair Isle (cardigan, pullover, socks, hat etc...).

Also, what's with all the V necks? A crew neck and tie FTW!

I just can't get down with a crew neck sweater and a tie. It doesn't do justice for the tie and shirt. The v neck is a better stage for display IMO. I just assume you're wearing a dickie.

That's the same way I feel about peiople who leave the top buttons of vests (or cardigans) unbuttoned when they are wearing a necktie. Anyone who wants all of their tie to show when wearing a vest (or cardigan) should wear a bow tie.

Great challenge, have to pass on this one, I only have fair isle socks, no knitwear. I've been trying to get onboard a challenge these last few weeks but a lot of them has been really "challenging". Hence the thread name...döööh.
