WARNING: This challenge will result in some of us looking like fools.
The challenge is to incorporate at least one casual element into your CM fit. Two words…Simone Righi. No one does it better...although Mr. Kamoshita is just as good.

This is not something everyone is capable of pulling off…I doubt I’ll be able to. It takes a certain steez, sprezz, swag, or whatever you want to call it. Most people that try fail miserably. You might be thinking…how hard can it be? Throw a rollneck under my SC, slip on the dad jeans and boom….killed it. Wrong. Everything has to be in perfect casual harmony and you have to look comfortable doing it. Don't be like Andy...

We have a few members that pull off the look extremely well….and I hope they participate @Tirailleur1 , @mossrockss , @NickPollica , @gdl203 , @EFV , @GuidoWongolini . Mark Cho and Jake Grantham (Armoury) are also great sources of inspiration…as you’ll see below.
Here are the details:
Rule #1- You must incorporate at least one casual element into your CM fit. Examples include: rollneck, polo, popover, sneakers, denim, etc.
Rule #2- You must wear a jacket of the following variety: suit jacket, SC, safari, Teba, field jacket, etc.
Accessories are encouraged…i.e., scarves, hats, etc.
Questions I imagine might be asked....
Does a knit tie count as the one required casual element? No.
Do I have to wear a tie or PS? No…..that would be pretty hard with a polo or rollneck, now wouldn’t it ;)
What about desert boots with a suit? Yes, but they would need to be paired with something else…i.e., rollneck or polo.
Will leaving my BD collar unbuttoned get me more votes? No, stop being lazy and/or cheap. If you want a spread collar, buy a spread collar.
Do cardigans or sweaters count as a jacket? No.
How about sandals? Hell no. Absolutely not. You will be immediately banned from the forum. I’ll flip out if I see any bare feet…I’ll make an exception if Luca pops in.

Can I wear shorts? If you think you can pull off shorts with a jacket, please go right ahead. I’m actually hoping someone tries.
The outfit must be worn this week. DEADLINE for submissions is Saturday, 12 Mar 16 at 1700PST. Poll will expire on Monday, 14 Mar 16 at 2100PST. Good luck!

The contestants...please vote on awesomeness of fit, but also degree of difficulty Quote: Originally Posted by chocsosa

Any opportunity to create a train wreck is always an interesting challenge - I think that I'm in . . . .
