A very good game, indeed. I think we will see more goals in second half. Both teams have lots of pitch to work with, as neither defense is particularly impressive.

I am shocked, never expected this.
I am dutch and a fan of football that is playful and focused on offense. That is why I liked the portugese team. (I also have the Brazilian nationality so that might be a reason too). But you will have to applaud the german Kampfgeist. On decisive moments they are there to do their thing. Something my team of Orangemen lacked so often.

So true.

I am really curious what the second half will bring...

Is Joachim Löw the German version of Rob Lowe. Man that guy wears his white shirts tight. scary.

That footballfield is hilarious. It is like watching an old fifa computer game where green blocks are meant to resemble a footballfield. Patchwork! A detail from a Klimt painting perhaps.

Paulo Ferreira's defending is atrocious - easily at fault for 2 of the Germans' goals.

Well, it's crazy but that is tournamentfootball 101. Incredible, I seriously thought germany would be nowhere against the agile Portugese. Dang Germany did it again. Italy vs. Germany final is not going to happen though. I seriously doubt that jl.

You think so? They took the gifts Portugal gave them and they did their thing, as Flieger mentioned.

Let's see, who will be their opponent in the semi and then we can speculate about Ger:Ita in the final.

no way germany did not kick ass. portugal had two solid chances that should have been goals.

two goals by the germans were blown coverage on free kicks. the first goal however was beautiful.

all in all though it was a great match.
