I wonder how an inner lining will affect fades.

I have the J Crew flannel lined jeans from last fall/winter. They're gloriously comfortable and warm, but a big more distressed than I'd like, what with the (mild) fake whiskers and whatnot. Also, the cut is a bit baggier than the jeans I usually wear, though not obnoxiously so. And I get complimented on them when I wear them. And again, gloriously comfortable.

Bought the Flannel lined chinos from J Crew a couple years a go. Gloriously comfortable during colder months, and fit the same as their standard chino.

Here is J Crews offering last year, overpriced but when they went to final sale they ran out of stock fast.

I also like the flannel lined camp pant and picked it up on final sale for $20. I actually wear flannel lined pants all year, I use them as pajamas when I wake up on the weekends. My family stumble in the kitchen and they think I've been chopping wood all morning because I appear dressed, but instead all I did was pick up the newspaper & lounge in the comfort of soft flannel.

Both are good quality, they look a bit faded but good as new after a year of abuse.

I would say they are dazzlingly comfortable. A tad baggy on the hips though so next time I'll order an inch down. I wear the camp pant alot more than the jeans, I like the lightweight material on the outside of the pant better than the heavier jeans. The charcoal color looks good with the J Crew buffalo flannel shirts I bought as well. Also, I think the camp pant retailed for $80 as compared to $145 for the jeans.
