Recently been working in Maranello. The company abuts a Ferrari workshop. From the terrace during coffees I can see into the repair yard and occasionally they release a masked vehicle to be shuttled over the flyover to the main plant.

They are supposedly working on a lot of new cars, so they're probably doing that often. New replacements for the 612 (which I've never liked) and the CS/Scuderia version of the 458, plus the modificato facelifts of the 599 and Cali should all be out soon, as well as an F70, last but not least. Ferrari is in a sweet spot right now.
Ferrari has decided to recall all of the 458 Italia cars it made this year, following reports of a number of the luxury cars catching fire.
Ferrari said its engineers had flown around the world to investigate five reports of "thermal incidents".
As a result, it will be asking the owners of more than 1,200 of the supercars to bring them in for modification work.
damn that pic above is crazy. somebody had a bad day
I saw a barefoot homeless african-american man sleeping with his cane lying next to him, in the subway terminal on 96th and Broadway... trust me, there are far worse in life than having your Ferrari combust and then get a brand new car from Ferrari for free.
Time to build a brand new car for the owner who's ferrari was burned in half? Maybe they'd do a rush job but that still many months at least. Unless they give the owner money and expect him to find a new car on his own.
