Chopped tomatoes, I don't know what the culinary term for that is though.

It is the only way that I actually enjoy eating tomatoes in any form.

As of lately my favorite toppings ar what I call a "border to border". Canadian bacon and Jalepeno peppers. I'll toss in some pineapple in the mix sometimes too.

I had pizza with guanciale, Parmesan and an egg in the middle, last night. Sounds gross, but it was really great.

a good combo is a white pie (no heaping mounds of ricotta!) w/ roasted (red) peppers & some (not too much) hot soppresata (pepperoni).

margherita w/ arug & prosciutto applied post

marg w/ a little sweet (w/ fennel) sausage (casing removed and chopped) & roasted (green) peppers

marinara - good crushed tomatoes, oil, a little garlic, maybe some fresh oregano, topped w/ capers & anchovies (no cheese!)

marg w/ funghi and parsley

Sounds close to the flavors of a flammekueche, which is delicious too. Was there tomato sauce or was it a bianca?

Bianca. I love flammekueche. I love Alsatian food in general.
