I went to an Asian grocer and picked up some of these because of this post. I also searched desperately for a can of soursop, but to no avail. Soursop, if not privy to its glory, is straight up ambrosia -- the nectar of the gods.

1. syrian candy - lokum and nougat with dried apricot leather and pistachios. this is my obsolute favorite candy

2. there is a type of mild liquorish toffee sold in italy - it is actually sort of half mint half liquorish

3. salty liquorish from netherlands

4. soft fresh fruit liquorish whips from australia

5. swedish fish

6. canadian macontosh taffy
