Exotic skin ID help - Elephant?

Hello all,

I'm trying to identify the exotic skin type that these are. I don't think they're any form of cow leather, definitely not the usual suspects (ostrich, gator/croc, stingray). I guess buffalo is possible as well, though I'm not familiar with it. My thought was elephant maybe? The skins are super soft (think napa leather in softness). Any help identifying is appreciated! Pictures below.

Maker is Gravati for Arthur Beren, if that matters at all.

They look like Peccary skin which is a hide Gravati uses a lot. https://www.google.com/search?q=peccary+shoes check the images your shoe is like number 5.
